No, fibroids are actually benign tumors. And please don't panic right now, they don't kill you, they are not the same as cancer. Some women get them, some don't, my gyno told me is was possible that heredity played a part in whether you will get them or not. Seriously, you need to go see a gynecologist to find out what is causing the pain. Because since you are sexually active, yes, it is possible that you could have an STD that is causing this, even if you have no other symptoms. You are residing in the only body that you will have in this lifetime, so make sure you take care of it.

I have fibroids that sometimes make sex quite painful for me. Have you been to a gynecologist to get checked out? My boyfriend is very understanding, but sometimes I also endure quite a bit of pain, and tend to be more vocal at these times, because he's so into it I just want him to enjoy himself. I try not to do this too often because I really believe in honesty, but every now and again I just tough it out.
